The Captain Trevor Haworth Outstanding Contribution by an Individual to the Tourism Export Industry

     


Introduced in 1981, the Outstanding Contribution by an Individual to the Australian Tourism Export Industry was re-named in honour of ATEC Life Member Captain Trevor Haworth (pictured left) who sadly passed away in 2014. Captain Trevor was the inaugural recipient of this prestigious honour in 1981, and he was recognised again in 2009.

This award is presented at the ATEC Meeting Place Gala Dinner and recognises an exemplary individual whose dedication, commitment, drive and passion have made a significant impact on Australia’s tourism export industry.

Previous winners include Tony Liu (pictured), Jeff Ellison (also pictured below), Craig Wickham, Francis Wong, Anna Guillan, Andrew Burnes, Rhonda Rust, Bill Wright, Don and Judy Freeman, Peter Doggett and Ron Murray.
